Be prepared

Our grandson advanced from Cub Scouts into a Boy Scout troop. During the ceremony, a young Cub Scout explained one of the Scout virtues.

“Honesty is the opposite of lying,” he said. “If you do something bad and you lie, it makes things worse.”

Then he added,  “I’ve experienced that.”
