My mother clearly put a lot of thought into choosing just the right card for her youngest child’s birthday.
See what she wrote on the inside.
But the best part is my dad’s signature. Not simply, “Dad,” but “Your Dad.”
Good to know he’s distinguishing himself from that Other Dad, whoever he is. Good thing since that other guy didn’t even send me a lousy card!
In other news, Four Columns of a Balanced Life posted Ten of my Favorite Tips from 101 Tips for a Happier Marriage and asked me to spread the word. Please be so kind as to click the link. He did a nice job putting it together. Show ‘im some love. Consider it a birthday gift, from my Other Blog Friend. 😉
BK out.
Ha! I love your dad!

Yes, precisely, “Your Dad.” Haha! He is funny. And he wasn’t even trying to be. Thanks, Jacqui.

Totally. And my mom is in an “I’m too old to care” phase of her life. I can’t blame her. I’m 30 years younger and have already reached that point. 🙂

Was expecting something a little sappy – but no.😁
Congrats on the inclusion!

If the card from my parents had been sappy, I’d think they’d been replaced by imposters. 😛
Thanks, Nadine. 🙂

Your mom 😂. So SHE is the responsible one for starting the ‘whatever’ trend!
My dad would give unsigned cards so we could use them again !

Your mom is in her “too old to care phase”! That’s hysterical! She sounds like a funny funny mom. Where did you get humor from, mom or dad?

Tough call.
I do know where I got my “whatever” attitude from, however! 😉

Of course, I’m a terrible singer. I might get punched just to shut me up. Kidding! ;P Thanks for checking it out, CK.

Hi am new to blogging, please I need some ideas on sharing post from others websites to mine

I don’t generally do that, so I may not be the right person to ask. I know there’s a reblog button, and then you can maybe copy and paste the first couple of paragraphs and then include a link to read more?

My mom and sister are hilarious. Too bad they live on the other side of the country, so I don’t see them for Thanksgiving.
But thank you, “thefolia.” 🙂
