My two-year-old son said to me, “Mommies, Jesus DIED.”

“Yes, he did,” I replied.

“But I super miss him. I super miss him, Mommies!”

Such a martyr!


A mother saw her sons fighting over the last two cookies because one cookie was noticeably larger than the other. She decided to intervene, saying, “You know, Jesus would want you two to make a sacrifice by offering the larger cookie to the other. If Jesus were here, that’s what He would do.”

Jesus speaks to little children


When my daughter was about four, I was telling her that while we were in church everyone needs to be extra quiet. When we are, Jesus can talk to us in our hearts. And if we are quiet, we can hear Him.  She said, “Okay, Mommy,” and about a minute later she said, “Oh Mommy, I hear him.”  I said, “Really? What is He saying?”
