It’s not what you think. I can explain.

Some time after the kids had been playing outside my bedroom window, I walked into my room, looked out the window, and saw something that made me freeze, back up slowly, and call down the hallway, “Girls? Could you come here a moment?”

Then, pointing, “What. Is that?”

“We were making mud food,” one responded. “It’s a mini croissant.”

“Mini croissant”

Of course it is.

I felt the need to warn my husband when he got home from work. “When you go into our room, just know it’s a mini croissant.” He looked at me, puzzled, then continued on his way. A moment later I heard him laughing.

You never know what you’re going to find here at Chez Kerekes.

I recently received this message from an actual human being: “I am loving your book. Seriously. My family kept looking at me b/c I was laughing so hard. Then they said, ‘Oh, she’s reading that book again.'”

And this review popped up on Amazon:

“Even with five children 9 and under, I couldn’t put this book down. I enjoyed it so much and found it so easy to read because it was just like an in-person conversation. So many of the moments Betsy describes and the funny asides made it a fun, quick read that once I got started, I found myself sneaking in a few pages wherever I had the chance. A perfect combination of wit, humor, and wisdom.”

You won’t know what you’re missing out on until you order your copy today. 🙂

  1. You know me, I always have a great comment for you, but today….. I am left speechless on this one. I have sooo many questions to ask on the photo that I see, that it is probably better left un-asked.
