My friend with three sons posted this on facebook:
Life as the Activities Director at Camp Mommy is seldom dull. Overheard this morning:
Boy 1 – “What should we do?”
Boy 2- “Let’s all get in the closet and fart. Last one standing wins.”
I’m glad I have three girls. Although, today the youngest said,
“I’m the queen of the pee pee.”
“Uhm, what?”
“P. P.–popcorn provider.”
She was distributing popcorn to her siblings. Shame on me for not figuring that out.
Next week we’re traveling for a family reunion, and I’ll get to meet one of my blog buddies IN PERSON! I’m so excited!
I hope this won’t be the last time I get to meet up with a BB. (Blog Buddy. Keep up.) Have any of you had the pleasure? Would you want to?

I’m pretty sure my boys never played the closet flatulence game. Then again, if they did, I don’t want to know about it. Pee-U. 😄

Precisely. Though I must say, Carrie. I’m surprised you didn’t comment on the whole meeting a blog buddy in person thing. I know you’ve just been DYING to meet ME!

I’ve barely been around enough this summer to meet up with anyone! 😄 Recently got home from vacation, and now I’m doing the whole ThrillerFest thing in New York. Love visiting this city, but I’m starting to miss my own bed.

I’ve never meet a BB in real life. Still not sure they are real – they might just be computer constructs that will vanish if I try to see them in real life. Either that or the aliens who control my mind will shut me off and reboot my memories.
Still it would be nice to see a real BB.

I could be a robot. You may never know.

I’ve often wondered about that.

And now you’ve let on that you may be an alien. Just as I suspected.

Back in 2005 I joined canoga. I am still in contact with one of those bloggers even though Santa has since gone bye bye. Met 5 BB. One has since died but keep in contact with her husband. And one is still my very best friend.

Awh. That’s sweet about the last part, anyway. Sad about the other.

Ah. See, I never got into Myspace either. I’m way behind the curve on most technological and social media things. It took me YEARS to find out about facebook!

I never did facebook. Well, for about five minutes. Hahaha. I had a Myspace, but never figured it out.

You’re getting to meet a blogging buddy?! Guess what–so am I! I can’t wait! I’m sure she’ll be just as funny in real life as she is online 😀 I’ve only (going to) meet one BB, but I think it’d be fun to meet all of them. 😀

You too?! Wow! What are the chances? No doubt she’ll be awesome. 😉 😉 I’d love to meet more too. But for now, this one will certainly do. (Even if she can’t bring her cat along.) 😉

Closet farts…..not something we ever thought of. Thankfully!
I have met numerous bloggers. One time my husband volunteered to get bumped on a plane and they gave him a $400 voucher. We used it to fly to Florida to have lunch with a blogger! It was wonderful. I have met up with many bloggers, 7 I think….. Two of them in Ireland!!!!!! 😀

You’re going to meet a BB?Great!.I’ve never met any. It sure would be fun, I think. The 21st century equivalent to meeting penfriends. Those I’ve met, 4 of them and all good friends, though we don’t write to each other often.
Wish you a happy time with your friend.

I have met a blogger in real life [accidentally] and some day I might write about it. Maybe. It was an odd experience that did not end so well.

We met by accident when she was working as a sales associate in a fancy retail store. Not knowing who I was she was her true self, complete with condescending attitude toward me, the customer. There’s more to this, but that’s the gist of it. I never introduced myself to her and walked out of the store.

Wow. You knew it was her because she uses her real name or face on her blog? That’s really too bad. Sorry. 😦 I would never be rude to you, Ally Bean. Not even if I were your mailman. 😉

I knew her face because she loved to photograph herself and because she used her real name when blogging [which she no longer does]. A co-worker said “hi” to her, using her name, while I was standing there, so that was confirmation that it was she. Nice, huh?

photographs of herself should’ve been your first clue. 😉
BTW, good grammar with “she”!

Thanks. My mother drilled that grammar lesson into me. It was one of her pet peeves.

Very funny indeed (I have two boys, I don’t know anything about what they did in the closet when they were children). I met a couple of food bloggers I like a lot and we are friends now. I’m writing from Italy

I’m friends with a BB on Facebook. It’s fun to be able to converse with her on that medium because it isn’t public consumption…and most of my life friends and family don’t read/follow my stuff.

Isn’t it funny how real life friends don’t follow our blogs? I don’t know if it’s because they don’t have blogs of their own…
Nice about facebook. I actually EMAIL! with the BB I’ll be meeting up with. We’re truly getting serious. 😉

I think it’s because they hear me rant ALL the time about my stories anyway. Plus, they know the tid-bits I keep out or my work.

That would do it, too. I found out recently that one of my friends DOES read my blog. She just doesn’t like or comment. I had no idea. There could be others!

That would do it! My husband doesn’t read…at all. Apparently he reads it from time to time. There has been a lot going on, so I was surprised to hear that.

Fun little surprise when he does, then. This is why I try to keep my posts short. I just figure people have short attention spans. 🙂

I had a daughter, Betsy, and she was such an easy child until the teens. (Start saving up your sense of humor now). My grandson is aptly named Tornado Boy, and he would totally be into farting in the closet. Lol. And the cygnets are so darn cute – until they grow up and bite. Stick with your batch of offspring and enjoy, because you have a long way to go…. 😀

My oldest is 13. I have to tread lightly with her already. My next is 11, and is as sweet as can be. I wonder if she’s going to turn to the dark side too. I’m afraid. Very afraid.
