I laid down on the couch for a bit, and L brought me her special blanket and the stuffed animal of hers that she knows is my favorite. What a little love.
The next day I was lounging in a stuffed chair and happened to rest my eyes for a bit. The youngest ran away and came back with the same animal and blanket. A minute later when L came in, she looked at the animal with disdain, picked it up, flipped it around so it would be hugging me, and readjusted the blanket to cover us both.
Apparently she takes the rules of animal snuggling seriously.
Do you nap? Or, like me, do you only dream of napping?
I am glad you’re being taught the proper rules. It would be tragic for you to never know the joy of properly snuggling a stuffed animal.
and I never nap, but I have noticed a problem with my TV – there are times I start watching something and then suddenly the program just jumps to something new. Happens a lot with baseball, I start watching the game and the next thing I know the news is on. Got to get that TV fixed.

Ah, man. You gotta get that tv looked at. That would drive me nuts. I hope you’re at least comfortable on the couch when it happens, perhaps even lying down, with a pillow, maybe a teddy bear and a blanket. š

Dreaming of a nap. Haven’t napped in four years. *sigh*

I hear ya. Who knows the last time I’ve napped. I only pretend to. It’s the closest I ever get. At least resting my eyes is somewhat helpful.

Weren’t you aware of “The Napping Ettiquette”? I have always told you that your daughter is very bright!

If she knows how to nap properly, she’ll go far in this world. š

Sweet. I’d be happy if the kids were simply quiet.

Yes. That would be nice. Right now they are doing a paper airplane throwing contest. It is anything but quiet.

Ah, yes, the glories of a nap š ! I’m fortunate in that I get an opportunity to recharge (aka nap) on the weekends. Then again, my kids are much older than yours. š
And of course the stuffed animal has to hug you. Weren’t you paying attention in class? š

I must have fallen asleep in class that day.

I am a firm believer in naps with teddy bears, cats, dogs, human snugglers…anything or anyone that will curl up and purr!āŗ

I’d even be content with none of those things so long as I was still getting a nap!

Naps are great (and even better if you know the rules of stuffed animal snuggling) xxx

It just isn’t a nap without proper animal snuggliage.

Oh yes I nap! That is one of the beauties of being retired. Some days I am on the go all day. But there are those days when I say, “I’m retired. I can take a nap if I want to.” And I enjoy it!

Awww! I nap. Sometimes just close my eyes for 15 min. Othertimes, I close my eyes for a few hours and it’s like I’m drugged and can’t wake up.

Yes, I hate that feeling drugged part. Not sure the nap was worth it then.
