From the mouth of my 5-year-old

Standard

“I don’t like my reflection because it always does what I do!”

The nerve of some mirrors!

“When I go to heaven, I can say words that I’m not allowed to say here, like ‘Poop.’

Also, I can have my own cat in heaven.

AND, I won’t have to worry about things like friends who are sick coming over and touching my cat.”

Wouldn’t it be lovely to be five again?

  1. Precious…precious the words of children. Now to the opening of your post. This is going to seem strange but if you don’t mind, we would like to borrow your opening line. As artists, I have to say the line “β€œI don’t like my reflection because it always does what I do!” well, that’s just too tasty to pass up!! lol With your permission of course. Perfectly simple yet deliciously inviting for writers of fiction.
