A friend in Florida texted me this story:
I put on my knee-length dress before realizing I hadn’t shaved my legs. It was far too hot to wear hose, so I asked my young daughter if she could see the short prickly hairs, hoping I could get away without shaving.
She said, “Yes, Mommy, but they match your dress, so they look nice!”
And here’s one for all you Chef Gordon Ramsay fans:
You know your daughter watches a lot of Master Chef when, after
hearing the gospel of Jesus feeding the five thousand she says, “Do
you think before he had his disciples pass out the food he said,
‘Service, please’?”
Hahaha! I just love it when my leg stubble matches my outfit.

It’s something women everywhere aspire to.

Cute post! I have been wondering if the fish the Disciples passed around was cooked first or were there thousands of tiny fires there on the hillside. ….or did they eat raw fish back in Jesus day?….

I never thought about it! If it was the lunch packed by the kid’s mom, I’m going to guess it was cooked.

I asked my pastor on Sunday (we had the same message). He didn’t know either.. Yes if it was packed by the kid’s mom there would have been a napkin and a cookie or something sweet in there too

And a tiny bunch of grapes in a small tupperware. Why didn’t she remember to include that?!

It had to be hard with all the excitement of everyone following Jesus around the countryside. Think how much wine Jesus could have made with a sandwich bag full of grapes! 🙂

Haha at least it’s camouflaged! My two year old recently saw my underarms, pointed to them and said, “Dirty.” Thanks, bud!

Ha! Yeah. Kids are not at all great for a mom’s self esteem!

Just remember—kids have much better eyesight than adults. So most of us wouldn’t have noticed!

Children and grown children won’t fudge the truth about how we look. This one cracked me up about her hair on legs matching her dress. Was it striped? 🙂

I don’t think it was striped… perhaps speckled? 😉
