“Just back off, buddy. Eat your spaghetti plain!”
Tonight we had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. At one point our seven-year-old asked what animal the meat was from. I told her cow. Then she said, “We’re eating cow balls!” As if that weren’t enough, she followed it with: “Mmm. Cow balls are delicious!”
My husband and I had a hard time containing our laughter.

Ha ha, cute story. My four year old hasn’t yet figured out that meat comes from animals. I hope she handles the discovery that well.

We told our kids that God put animals on the earth so we could eat them. That seemed to do the trick!
