My seven-year-old opened an educational magazine to an article about the life cycle of a butterfly. She then placed a stuffed caterpillar on the page in such a way that it looked like it was reading. She said to me, “Look, mom. The caterpillar doesn’t know how to become a butterfly, so he’s reading how.”
Love that kid.

It is so funny you put this up today!Your little girl is so creative. Now I have to tell you the twins had to go get tested for speech today. The little girl was shown a picture of a butterfly and said it was a fufferfly. The lady looked at her mom and said -you realize she is repeating her last sounds first don’t you- and Brooke said yes I do but I love it when she says fufferfly.
