The Tooth Fairy Has Stiff Competition

My son lost hit first tooth. We told him if he put it under his pillow the tooth fairy would bring him $1. He wasn’t really excited about that. He wanted to keep his tooth because the school nurse gives out plastic tooth boxes that you can wear around your neck. So he got the box and felt like the most awesome kid in the world. We asked him again if he was sure he didn’t want to give it to the tooth fairy. He thought about it and said he would only give it to the tooth fairy if she brought him $49.99. We told him that was a lot of money, and he would only get a dollar. He was fine with that because he really wanted to keep the tooth anyway. -Jackie, mother of 4

  1. $49.99 per tooth? At that rate, the tooth fairy could help this little guy save for college. Cute story! Kids are so particular when it comes to bargaining with the tooth fairy. I remember when my daughter lost her 1st tooth, the only thing she wanted was a Barbie DVD.So, guess what daddy, I mean the tooth fairy, brought her? You guessed it! 🙂
