My five-year-old drew me a picture depicting flowers, princesses, and heart-shaped balloons. Below them was a whole lotta brown. I asked, “Is that dirt?” She replied, “No, that’s a puddle of coffee for you to drink.” Have I been caught licking spilled coffee off the floor?! (I thought I was being discreet!)
