Tonight my three-year-old son said to me, “Momma, you’re nice. Thank you for wiping my butt. Yeah, because I can’t reach my butt, and you help me. You’re sonice to me.”
Indeed. Last night when I headed to bed there was a small teddy bear tucked in on my husband’s pillow. It was so darling–one of those moments when I thought, “You gotta love kids”!
From the mouths of babes . . . kid sure do keep it authentic. So sweet!

I thought this was pretty impressive. None of my kids ever thanked me for wiping their butts!

Maybe our kids will thank us when we’re older. Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever thanked mine. … I should call my mom….

Really, Teresa? I have no experience with boys. Because it’s “bathroom humor”?
